Palermo’s most uplifting and engaging experiences come from simply walking through its neighbourhoods' streets and their jumble of patchwork archtecture, unexpected piazzas and street markets. You will be guided by a professional and licensed local tour guide that will lead you to the discovery of these hidden and beautiful places.
Our tour starts from Piazza Indipendenza, here you will cross Porta Nuova to the Real Palace and the Palatina Chapel. Along the Cassaro main road there is the Cathedral, the fusion between the Arab and Normand culture. The tour continues on Corso Vittorio Emanuele to the Quattro Canti – Palermo’s most beautiful junction with San Giuseppe dei Teatini Church.
The tour heads to piazza Pretoria and its epic Tuscan Fountain to reach Piazza Bellini and its cross-cultural architecture mash-up. Here are La Martorana and San Cataldo Church. The tour continues to the famous historic Ballarò Market. The last stop will be in Piazza Giulio Cesare, very close to Palermo Central Station.
